my approach

My hope is that my approach to therapy leaves you feeling nourished and cared for.

My goal with my practice is to create a comfortable, safe, collaborative and non-judgmental therapeutic space for my clients.

I value a “doing with” rather than a “doing to” approach, where we are working together and I am sensitive to how you are experiencing the session and therapeutic relationship with me. My role is to help guide you in processing your experiences, help you to hear yourself, organize thoughts and identify feelings. I may offer feedback, suggest tools all to ultimately help you to move towards a better quality of life.

I am a Registered Social Worker (BSW, RSW). I have additional training in Attachment (Level 1 and 2), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (Level 1) and Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1). I use a variety of concepts from modalities in my practice including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness.

My desire is that my clients feel seen, heard, safe and supported in their journey towards hope and healing.
